             On the scorching day of 28 February 2026, the Academic Department is holding the Onde-Onde and Cecodok Pisang Making workshop in the school’s new cafeteria to celebrate the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri in early March. There were a total of 60 students partaking in the event, limited to Senior One students only, in which they were guided by experienced Malay teachers in preparing these dishes.

             The workshop began at 10.30 in the morning, and was to end at 12.30 in the afternoon. Although some mishaps happened during the roll call session, the issue was corrected at once and the workshop went on smoothly as intended .

             At 11.00 in the morning, students were ushered to the boiling and frying station, and the cooking process of these two dishes began.

             As the workshop came to an end at 12.30, students were chattering with their peers while enjoying the neatly packed Cekodok Pisang and Onde-onde made by them earlier to bring home and savor every bite.
