2027 Junior Middle One Placement Test Information

    1. Placement Test Date, Time and Subjects

    Date: 26 September 2026 (Saturday)

    Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

    Placement Test Schedule:

    Time 8:00 am – 8:45 am 9:00 am – 9:45 am 9:45 am – 10:15 am 10:15 am – 11:00 am 11:15 am – 12:00 pm
    Subjects Chinese English *Break BM Mathematics
    (Chinese)
    *Light refreshments (Milo + bread) will be distributed to candidates during the break.

    2. Exam Hall Information

    • The exam hall number is stated on the student’s Placement Test Pass. Please refer to the sample below.

    • Candidates are required to check their exam hall arrangement in advance by referring to Attachment 1 and Attachment 2, and take note of their exam hall number.
    • On the day of the Placement Test, teachers and student volunteers will be stationed around the school to guide candidates to their respective exam halls.

    3. Documents and Stationery Required

    All candidates must bring:
    • Placement Test Pass
    • 2B pencils
    • Eraser
    • Ruler

    Prohibited Items:
    • Smartwatches
    • Mobile phones are allowed, but must be turned off once in the exam hall.

    Attire:
    • Candidates must wear their respective school uniform and be neatly attired.

    4. Transport, Drop-off and Pick-up Arrangements

    • Arrival before 7:30 a.m
    1.Due to the large number of candidates, traffic congestion is expected. Candidates are advised to leave home early or use public transport whenever possible to avoid delays or missing the test.
    2.For campus safety, only candidates are allowed to enter the school grounds. Parents only need to drop off their children at the school entrance. Teachers and student volunteers will be stationed around the school to guide the candidates to their respective exam halls.

    • Pick-up and Parking Arrangements After 11:00 AM
    1.The Placement Test will end at 12:00 PM. Parents are kindly requested to decide on a pick-up point with their child in advance, such as the canteen, basketball court or waiting area next to the guardhouse. Please do not enter the exam hall area to pick up your child.
    2.The school parking lot will be open after 11:00 AM. Spaces are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
    3.If the school parking lot is full, parents may park around Brickfields, near Tun Sambanthan Monorail Station(refer to attachment 3), and walk to the school via the pedestrian bridge.

    5. Admission Announcement and Registration

    • Admission Announcement:
    1.The list of students admitted will be announced one week after the Placement Test via the Intake 2027 Application System, email, newspapers, and the school website.
    2.The school does not provide test results for checking.
    • Registration Fee
    1.Parents of successful students must complete the online registration and pay the Registration Fee through the Intake 2027 Application System before 6 October 2026 (Tuesday).
    2.Failure to complete the registration within the stipulated time without a valid reason will be considered automatic forfeiture of admission..
