On the 7th to 12th of February 2026, the Academic Department hosted a series of events for students featuring a market, titled “The Artisan Market,” to be held in front of the school hall. The event aimed to capture all the beauty of Chinese culture in welcoming the annual Chinese New Year celebration.

This brief yet engaging experience welcoming teachers and students alike has been an effective catalyst in promoting cultural appreciation and allows students to enjoy while learning more about Chinese culture in general.

Many goods were sold during the four-day event: candied fruit skewers, fragrance pouches, New Year biscuits and sugar paintings which all received much attention from students. In addition to the array of delicacies being sold, the Academic Department also offered students a chance in partaking the Hands-on Sugar painting experience as well as prepared gifts such as the Chinese knot and custom drawn keychains to all customers .
