The opening ceremony of the Five-Uniformed Week was held on the 14th of July 2025, in the Lee Shin Cheng Hall. As the opening ceremony began, the Five-Uniformed groups, namely the Air Scout, St. John Ambulance, Girl Guides, Police Cadets and the Prefectorial Board, marched through the entrance of the hall neatly and sharply, along with a brief introduction of each uniform group led by the emcee, leaving a stunning first impression on the audience!

The Principal of Kuen Cheng High School, Madam Chua Lee Lee, gave her speech to proceed. Madam Chua began by introducing the series of activities that are held throughout the Five-Uniformed Week, hoping it will cultivate team spirit within students. She also hopes the Five-Uniformed Groups maintain their self-discipline and enthusiasm about serving the school.

The ceremony was then continued by an oath-taking ceremony, led by Pang Ming Qi (Sr1ComB) and Charmaine Ng Zi Qi (Sr1ScD). With pride and confidence, the Five-Uniformed Groups swore to fulfil their duties as uniformed groups and always maintain self-discipline and diligence.

At the end of the ceremony, the Five-Uniformed Groups marched out of the hall, performing their perfectly synchronised marching steps and saluting towards the audience, displaying discipline and unity through the well-drilled marching steps! With that, the Five-Uniformed Groups have put a pleasant ending to the opening ceremony.
