On 5th July 2025, Kuen Cheng High School proudly hosted its annual Science Week, an exciting event that brought science to life in fun and interactive ways. The school compound was buzzing with energy as students, parents and teachers gathered to celebrate scientific curiosity and creativity. The exhibits have truly enhanced the atmosphere of Parents Day held at the same time!

There were various booths set up across the school, each focusing on a different branch of science, including chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics and more. Each booth was carefully prepared by students and teachers, aiming to spark interest and make learning enjoyable for all ages. The atmosphere in the school was energetic and filled with wonder.

The chemistry booth was one of the highlights of the day. It felt like stepping into a magical world of colourful reactions and hands-on experiments. Senior students confidently demonstrated and explained a range of fun experiments such as making bath bombs, writing secret messages with invisible ink and creating lava. One of the most talked-about activities was the artificial snow-making station. Visitors were fascinated by how a simple powder could expand and transform into fluffy, snow-like material. The booth combined science with creativity, leaving everyone impressed.

Next is the biology booth, where visitors could explore the wonders of the living world. One corner of the booth displays detailed models of animal species. There was also a section dedicated to the inner workings of animals, where students explained how systems like digestion, circulation and respiration function in various species. They demonstrated with live animals, showing how their bodies are adapted to their environments. The booth made animal anatomy feel incredibly engaging.

The math exhibition was another booth that drew a large crowd. Unlike the usual perception of math being difficult or boring, this booth proved otherwise. There were logic puzzles, interactive games and more games. One of the most exciting experiments was called “Same Frequency Resonance”, where visitors could observe how tuning forks vibrated together when placed at a matching frequency. It was a perfect example of how math and physics are closely linked. Some booths encouraged critical thinking and teamwork, many students were proud to solve the challenges provided.

By the end of the day, it was clear that Science Week had achieved its goal. It’s not just to teach, but to inspire. Everyone walked away with a better understanding of how science plays a role in our everyday lives. The event showed that science is not just about textbooks and exams but it’s about curiosity, discovery and creativity.

Kuen Cheng High School Science Week 2025 has come to an end, leaving lasting memories and sparking new interests in the hearts of many students.
