In conjunction with the 2025 Kuen Cheng Science Week, the Academic Department and Science Week Committee, held a series of collaborative events with the Basic Science Group and Handicraft Club. Exploratory stations booths were set up at the entrance of the hall and canteen from 24th to 26th of June, and 30th June to the 1st of July. Multiple stations were established based on science in daily lives. By taking part in these interactive and educational experiences, our students expanded their perspectives and acquired new knowledge.

Stations such as “The Story of the Moon” and the “Pendulum Experiment” relied on explaining the scientific reasoning behind the phenomena and an interactive Q&A to attract students. At the “Plastic Pollution” station, students needed to arrange plastic products in the progressing order of time used to naturally decompose, then understand the effects of plastic pollution explained by the Station Chief. The “Whirlwind of Heavy Metals” station explained the pollution of heavy metals, using water filled with metal fillings and magnets to imitate it.

By alternating stations, students earned a signature from each Station Chief, and collecting five would grant them an exclusive Science Week badge. Indeed, those interesting and fun station activities gave students an unique experience and a broader understanding of science.
