On the bright and sunny morning of the 13th of June 2026, golden sunshine poured on the roof of Kuen Cheng High School creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and laughter. After watching the eye-brightening and wonderful performances from students, each class conducted their own Teacher’s Day Tea Party where they could show their gratitude and appreciation towards their Form Teachers.

Following the live feed of the Teacher’s Day Celebration in the Lee Shin Cheng Hall, all students of Jr1Z(1) immediately sprang into action. Within minutes, tables were pushed together in the center of the class to form a grand buffet table and the smartboard displayed a bright and colourful background with the theme of the day ~ Happy Teacher’s Day. The aroma of fresh fruit tarts, swiss rolls and drinks engulfed the air as the students waited eagerly for our Form Teacher to arrive.

As soon as our Form Teacher arrived, students gathered with heartfelt Teacher’s Day songs, and the Jr1Z(1) class signed the signature sheet together, so we could proudly complete the final product with everyone’s signatures!

After enjoying sweet desserts and refreshing drinks, the event planning committee introduced the day’s activities and games in a simple, clear, and positive way, helping ensure everything ran smoothly. From the tense anticipation of musical chairs to the guessing of mystery item games, the room was filled with non-stop laughter and friendly competition. The students with polaroid cameras also went darting around the class, capturing every smile and memory through the lens.

After a few long hours that seemed to fly by in seconds, our classmates started to clean the classroom, making sure that the environment would be spotless and tidy for the following Monday. This Teacher’s Day celebration not only allowed students to express their deep appreciation towards their class and subject teachers, but it also greatly enhanced the relationships between teachers and students in a truly positive way.
