Kuen Cheng High School Discipline Department and the Prefectorial Club have jointly organised a series of events such as the Hygiene Awareness Poster Designing Competition, and a Rapid Fire Q&A to raise awareness of a healthy environment among students. There will be a duration of one month to design and submit their entry for the Hygiene Awareness Poster Designing Competition, beginning March 3rd to April 11th, 2025. Simultaneously, the Rapid Fire Q&A will be held during both recesses every day for the week.

To enhance communication, the organizing committee created a promotional video with the help of enthusiastic students. Two committee representatives delivered a powerful introduction at the weekly assembly, officially launching the campaign across the school. Students of Junior Middle Two and Three were given the opportunity to view the awareness campaign video at the school hall for the first time. During the meeting, key messages and facts about maintaining a safe and healthy environment were discussed. Countries like Singapore and Japan were mentioned as examples to keep our surroundings clean.

In the Rapid Fire Q&A sessions, most of the recesses were filled with students lining up to play the games. It was a huge hit as the prize given was a mystery box with a capybara keychain in it! Through this activity, students have widened their horizons and knowledge of the importance of keeping our surroundings safe.

Next up is the “Hygiene Awareness Poster Designing Competition”, which is organised for all students, and the chances to win prizes. The competition has been ongoing since the 3rd of March 2025, and ending on the 11th of April 2025 second recess. This competition is mainly held to promote the importance of our school’s cleanliness with the title “Sanitation Advocacy”, letting students express their creativity and practical skills to create a unique piece that embodies the given theme.

“No thrash left on the ground, and let’s show the beauty of our school!”.Time to take action and start keeping our school in tip-top cleanliness and hygiene. Join the activities and pick up every piece of trash you ever come across on the school floor. We believe, together, we can create a campus that is cleaner, greener, and more beautiful!
