To express our gratitude and appreciation to the teachers who stepped in to educate us, Kuen Cheng High School held a Teacher’s Day celebration at the Lee Shin Cheng Hall on the 13th of June 2026. The ceremony started promptly at 7:55 a.m., with students lined up and clapping enthusiastically to welcome the Chairman of Kuen Cheng High School, Tan Sri William Cheng Heng Jem, Madam Principal Chua, Vice Principals, and all the teachers into the hall. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of energy, making the teachers feel warmly welcomed and appreciated.

The celebration was themed “The Path You Paved and Illuminated for Us”, reflecting how teachers guide, inspire, and support students in finding their way and building a brighter future. The opening ceremony began with a lively and colourful dance performance, “婷有两下子”, led by Commerce Teacher Ms. Lim Wei Then, which brought energy and excitement to the start of the event.

Up next, Principal Chua expressed her appreciation to all teachers for their patience and dedication, describing teachers as a source of light that guides students towards a brighter path. The Student Representative Council then explained the theme for the event, “The Path You Paved and Illuminated for Us”, which conveys how teachers serve as guiding lights in students’ lives, providing knowledge, encouragement, and direction as they journey towards their goals and dreams.

Subsequently, all teachers were invited onto the stage for the cake-cutting ceremony, commemorating the dedication of teachers and the growth of their students, which was then followed by a group photo session to commemorate the occasion. After that, the school’s Broadcasting Club screened an interview video featuring the recipients of the Long Service Award, in which they shared their experiences at the school and their aspirations for the future. Then, the school presented the Long Service Award to teachers who had dedicated between 10 up to 35 years of service to the school.
