With the intention of stimulating students’ creativity and innovation, and improving their practical ability and market thinking, Kuen Cheng High School organized a ‘Bizarre Creation Showdown’ (Part 1) on 8th March 2025. Students from Commerce and Arts classes were the participants of this competition, with them forming teams based on classes to jointly design products that are both bizarre and practical.

At 10:30 a.m., Form Teachers joined the discussion and production sessions of their respective classes on time. In addition, some commerce teachers also joined in order to understand students’ progress and provide guidance. Since the competition was conducted on a class-based basis, each class was further divided into four groups: the Product Creation Team, the Advertising Team, the Poster Design Team, and the PPT Presentation Team.

During the two hours of production time, each team worked with a clear set of tasks and absolute commitment. The Product Creation Team collaborated in close harmony to transform their carefully planned drafts into tangible products, showcasing well-coordinated teamwork. The Advertising Team, meanwhile, focused on coming up with an engaging advertisement, carefully crafting graphics and texts to get attention and make the product stand out in the fierce competition. The Poster Design Team unleashed their creativity, crafting personalized and eye-catching posters to enhance the product’s visual appeal. At the same time, the PPT Presentation Team took charge of compiling information, organizing photos of the production process, materials, and semi-finished products into a well-structured PowerPoint presentation, ensuring a seamless product showcase in the next stage.
