Kuen Cheng High School hosted a series of engaging events for International Week 2025. Students had the chance to sample foods from various countries, including Korea, Japan, and France, filling the school with joy and excitement.
To begin with, the Korean stalls drew a lot of attention. They featured a tempting range of snacks and beverages, such as Pepero sticks and banana milk, which was especially refreshing on a hot day. The most popular selling is the corndog. It has cheese and sausage inside with sauce on top. The queue for the corndogs was incredibly long throughout the day. Besides food, the stall also offered cute keychains that looked like packets of food.
Meanwhile, the Japanese stall was just as vibrant and well-received. It offered a variety of Japanese snacks such as Pocky sticks in different flavours, soft and sweet Dorayaki pancakes, drinks like Hota drink and the refreshing Melon Soda. But the most popular item at the Japanese stall was the Mentai Bento, packed with rice, spicy cod roe. Many commented on how authentic and flavourful the bento tasted—it felt like a quick trip to Japan with every bite!

Over at the French stall focused on different kinds of tarts, each beautifully presented and bursting with flavors. Students could choose from a variety of fruit toppings such as blueberry, strawberry, mango and grape, longan and even dark chocolate and matcha. Each tart was handcrafted with a delicate crust and a smooth, flavorful filling that melted in the mouth. Many students found themselves coming back from different flavours.

Overall, the International Week at Kuen Cheng High School was a vibrant celebration of global culture and cuisine. It brought students together in a joyful atmosphere filled with laughter and lots of delicious food. Events like this not only make school life more interesting but also help students appreciate and understand cultures from around the world in the most delicious way.
