As part of Kuen Cheng High School’s Spring Festival Celebrations, an e-card designing competition was organized in order to cultivate the morales and traditions of the Chinese Lunar New Year within the school community.
The competition was organized by the Co-Curricular Department and was held from the 5th to the 19th of January, 2022. There were two categories, one for juniors and the other for seniors. 10 winners were chosen from each category out of the 85 contestants. The abundance in incredible designs caused the respectful judges: Ms. Lim Yee Vean, Ms. Chow Pui Fong and Ms. Tiong Lay Ling to have a tough time choosing the winners.

All the exemplary works of art were tiger-themed and displayed the unique art styles of each contestant. Some of the contestants’ e-cards were used for an extended event 《祥虎贺岁》 where students and teachers were given the opportunity to write blessings for each other. This way, the contestants’ cards could be put to use in a more wholesome way.
